Indiana Division of Aging HCBS Settings Rule Compliance

Under a subcontract with Knowledge Services, one of our current projects involves supporting the Division of Aging Settings Rule evaluators to learn more about the settings rule requirements, person centered practices and planning, address rights restrictions and settings rule modifications' requirements, and help the Division reach compliance with the CMS Settings Rule.

Our work includes:

• "Settings Rule 101" sessions for compliance evaluators, providers, families and people using older-adult services
• Information sessions and in-services on person centered practices, and service planning requirements
• Training on settings rule modifications' and rights restrictions' requirements
• Weekly consultation with the Division of Aging to develop solutions across settings rule issues
